I stayed at a hostel in Xela that had a great value for my money. The room had a double bed in the dorm, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff at the hostel were friendly and very helpful, providing me with knowledgeable tips about the area. The location was perfect, close to the central square, Spanish schools, and other shops. I loved the rooftop terrace, which offered a stunning view of the city.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The location of the hostel is conveniently situated in the center of the city, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with single beds instead of dorm beds. The bathrooms are clean and equipped with hand soap for guests' convenience. Additionally, the hostel offers a beautiful terrace where guests can enjoy the views and a relaxed atmosphere.
The noise from other guests moving around the rooms early in the morning can be a disturbance.

During my recent stay at a hostel in Xela, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the open and bright atmosphere. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The best part was the free tea and coffee, as well as the refreshing touch of fresh ginger. The beds were comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. I was impressed by this hostel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xela.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with lots of information about the area, including recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, and nearby ATMs. They also had plenty of information about local adventures and hikes, and even gave us tips on how to do them on our own without needing a tour. the hostel itself was great, with comfortable beds and clean dorm rooms. the rooftop terrace and bar were fantastic for enjoying the nice weather, and they even hosted fun events like karaoke nights. the communal kitchen was one of the best I've seen in a hostel, fully equipped with everything you need to cook. it was a really enjoyable experience.
The limited number of bathrooms and showers compared to the number of guests. It could sometimes be a bit of a wait, especially during peak times.
